I haven't had a chance to read the Evangelical Manifesto yet; in case you haven't either, here it is.
FPL intern-extraordinaire Nick went to the National Press Club unveiling yesterday and will weigh in this afternoon about his impression of the event.

NY Times Mag or New yorker should pursue the rabbit trails on Timothy George and Richard Land.
Tony Cartledge at his blog TC.com has substantive reservations about it.
Cartledge has great influence in progressive Baptist circles, the sphere Rove and Land attempted to displace in the fundamentalist takeover
An aspect of it smacks of whitewashing.
